Model Systems Knowledge Translation Center

The MSKTC works closely with researchers in the 16 Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Model Systems to develop resources for people living with traumatic brain injuries and their supporters. These evidence-based materials are available in a variety of formats such as printable PDF documents, videos, and slideshows.

BrainLine

BrainLine is a national multimedia project offering information and resources about preventing, treating, and living with TBI. BrainLine includes a series of webcasts, an electronic newsletter, and an extensive outreach campaign in partnership with national organizations concerned about traumatic brain injury. brainline.org

Brain Injury Association of America

The mission of the Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA) is to advance brain injury prevention, research, treatment and education and to improve the quality of life for all people affected by brain injury. We are dedicated to increasing access to quality health care and raising awareness and understanding of brain injury. With a network of state affiliates, local chapters and support groups, we are the voice of brain injury.

Texas Brain Injury Alliance

Texas Brain Injury Alliance (TexasBIA) provides help, hope, and a voice for Texans who have suffered a brain injury. TexasBIA is dedicated to providing access to quality healthcare and to raising awareness and understanding of brain injury through resource facilitation, education, advocacy, and research for individuals who live with brain injury, their families, and the professionals who serve them.

CDC’s research and programs work to prevent TBI and help people better recognize, respond, and recover if a TBI occurs.

Brain Trauma Foundation

Since 1986, the BTF dedicated its mission to improving TBI patient outcomes worldwide by developing best practice guidelines, conducting clinical research, and educating medical professionals and consumers.
