From Vivian about the distinction of brain injury…what would you say??

Every person and everyone’s family dynamic is not the same.  As in my opinion brain injuries are not the same.

I have learned quickly that if your survivor has suffered from a TBI you have a whole different support group and understanding of you injury.

If your survivor has an ABI the support is not as easy, because there in no trauma and many of the studies and programs require you to be a TBI. Yet it none the less a brain injury.

And I wish the we could just called it that a “BRAIN INJURY.”  No one got to choose how they got it.
